Perfect! Christopher's an excellent teacher. In my initial, free lesson, he asked lots of questions in order to establish exactly what I wanted to achieve. He was also interested in my previous experience of playing the piano and my general knowledge of music. Due to family issues I was unable to commit to weekly lessons, but he was flexible in terms of time and length of lessons. His approach to teaching immediately puts you at ease. Even in the weeks that I do not have a lesson, he happily responds to any questions I might have by email or text, often including short explanatory videos as attachments.

Perfect! My son has been having piano lessons with Christopher for a few weeks now, and we couldn’t be happier. He had been learning with the same teacher for almost three years before they moved away, so we were a bit anxious about finding a good replacement, but after meeting Chris, I knew we were in great hands.My son absolutely loves his lesson every week. We go to his studio which is lovely and his teaching is dynamic and engaging. The lessons are well structured, but always fun and my son leaves full of enthusiasm. The amount he has learnt in a small space of time is astounding and I’m really looking forward to seeing my son develop and grow as a musician with Chris’s guidance. I can’t recommend him enough!

He has a very in-depth knowledge of music which is an excellent foundation to his friendly and professional teaching style. I used to play the piano as a youngster. Whilst I had positive feelings towards it, I always felt a lack of attachment / fulfilment with what I played. Chris's approach is helping to open my mind. I am starting to really enjoy playing the piano and feel excited about the potential of developing my music skills.

When I first started I went into this experience with a very negative mindset and thought I wouldn’t be able to pick it up as fast as I hoped or just thought I wouldn’t be able to learn anything; However, after my first lesson, I thought very differently. Chris takes every opportunity to reassure you of your good qualities while playing, making you excited to keep going. Also, he's excellent at reading people, so any tense feeling you have or thought you have or mistake you make while playing, Chris will catch on and talk you through it, making you feel more relaxed. He is also great at giving criticism when it's needed and thoroughly going over each step you should take to improve.
