About Amar
Teaching flute has been an exciting and meaningful journey for me over the last 6 years. I teach school and college students and believe that learning should always be positive, creative, and motivating. My classes cover breathing techniques, posture correction, finger coordination, rhythm, scales, articulation, tone production, and expressive performance.
I adapt every lesson to suit the student's pace so they feel confident and comfortable. Seeing students grow into independent musicians has been one of the highlights of my teaching career.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, beginner improvisation, and music appreciation. My goal is to help students achieve their musical dreams while enjoying every lesson.

My teaching philosophy is to help every student discover the joy of playing the flute. I use Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to build lessons that are enjoyable, practical, and easy to understand.
Students begin with strong fundamentals including posture, breathing control, tone production, rhythm, and note reading. As confidence grows, they learn finger techniques, scales, articulation, dynamics, improvisation, and expressive performance.
I motivate students by recognizing every improvement and encouraging consistent practice. Communication is always friendly and open, allowing students to learn without fear of making mistakes. Integrity guides my teaching through honesty, patience, fairness, and dedication.
Creative lesson activities include favorite songs, movie music, classical pieces, ear training, rhythm exercises, improvisation, and simple music games. Along with flute, I teach recorder, music theory, beginner keyboard, sight reading, rhythm practice, ear training, and concert preparation. My aim is to develop skilled musicians with confidence and creativity.
