About Gregor
My aim is to help students who are struggling to realise their potential; I too have found hardship in studying but with some help I was able to succeed academically - now I wish to do the same for other people! I am compassionate, friendly and charismatic, and am 100% commited to helping others succeed and make the most of their academic lives.
I attended the Colchester Royal Grammar School and was tutored for the 11+ by my mother (a recently retired secondary school English teacher), placing 130th of the 4000+ applicants nationwide, so I understand the impact that effective tutoring can have! After some years of employment after college, I achieved high grades on an Access course and gained offers from the likes of King College to study English Literature at degree level.
My specialist subject is English (for which I have attained a degree), but my passion is music - I received a grade 5 certificate in jazz saxophone, and have been playing guitar for many years alongside drums, as well as music production and recording.
I am able perform tutoring in person (I am willing to travel), over the internet via Skype/Facetime and am comfortable with 1-1 as well as group tutoring. I am flexible with the times I have listed here, so please feel free to message me with any requests for different times.
