About Roxanne
My Teaching Approach I’m a CELTA-certified ESL teacher with a Bachelor's in English and Literature, specializing in personalized, student-centered lessons. My approach focuses on building real-world communication skills through grammar, vocabulary, writing, pronunciation, and conversation practice. Lessons are interactive, practical, and designed to match each student’s needs and goals. A typical lesson includes a quick review, new content taught through real-life contexts, speaking practice, and personalized exercises. I emphasize critical thinking, clear explanations, and positive reinforcement to help students feel confident and motivated. I teach students of all ages (3 to 60+) and all levels — from complete beginners to advanced learners — including academic, business, and conversational English. Whether you’re studying for exams, improving fluency, or mastering professional English, I’ll tailor a plan just for you!
