Your classes will be geared towards your education levels, experience with the subject, goals, and personal interests. Areas I cover:
-Software teaching for interiors: Sketchup 3D, AutoCAD, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop
-Drawing hand sketching, perspective and technical
-Concept design and brainstorming for a new project
-Colour and material theory for interior schemes
-Online research & inspiration tools
-Identifying interior styles, cultural influences
-Discussing career pathways and entering the profession
-Homework tasks or activities to start building your portfolio
Learning outcomes:
-Identifying your strengths and weaknesses that will help you as a designer
-Solid base or developed understanding of different aspects of interior design
-Theoretical understanding of design principles, mistakes to avoid, tips for success
-Learning how to respond to a design brief
-Visual content/concept projects to put in your portfolio

I offer a range of teaching methods depending on your learning goals and aspirations, as well as your interests, as Interior Design is such a broad subject. As well a being a professional Interior Designer at a leading high-end studio in West London, I have published research in architectural history, and have delivered pre-graduate courses online in interior architecture and design.
Session duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour
Teaching method options: Presentation slides, mock project briefs, design development, software teaching eg Sketchup 3D, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, design case studies, sketching, reading list, design week guided visits (depending on availability), portfolio development, networking
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Design, MA Architectural History from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, peer-reviewed publication, professional in industry
