About Parker
I'm a professional legal news journalist with over 8 years working in journalism and communications. I have two master's degrees: one in journalism, and one in liberal arts with a focus on civic and political engagement.
As a journalist I mostly cover lawsuits and litigation, but I also have an extensive reporting background in covering criminal justice and social movements. Additionally I have published academic research in LGBTQ+ politics topics, and food insecurity for low income individuals.

Lessons can include specific assignments or any projects which require writing help or coaching. Generally my work focuses specifically on technical writing, but I also have experience working with creative writing as well.
I like utilizing a collaborative method of working with writers that allows them to gain a better sense of the writing process while also taking ownership of their work.
