David has been teaching my ten year old for 18 months, taking him from complete beginner to playing classical and jazz tunes beautifully. My son looks forward to lessons, and feels equally challenged and listened to - which I credit to David’s approach. He manages to steer my son through taking on new pieces, music theory and overcoming challenging sections all while making my son feel like he’s an equal partner in the class’ direction. We’re very glad we found such a good teacher and I’d recommend David to anyone.
