About Christine
I am currently completing my master's degree in Percussion Performance at the University of Delaware, I will be graduating in May 2021. I got my Bachelor's degree in Music Education with a focus in percussion and am certified to teach K-12 music. I teach private music lessons and gig regularly, I teach any percussion instrument and usually gig on steel drums! Within my degrees I have experience within these areas: music history, music theory, music reading, sight reading, piano, aural skills, percussion, and pedagogy.

My teaching method is highly dependent on the individual student's needs. In our first meeting I will ask what the student is looking to get out of our time together and will base my plans around that. If they are unsure of what they are looking to learn, I am happy to explore new things with them to hopefully spark an interest in something new!
