About Maria
Graduated from ESMUC, she completed a master degree in oboe performance with a mention in pedagogy at Sibelius Academy, Academy of the Arts, (Helsinki, Finland). In this country he has worked as a performer in the Finnish National Opera-Ballet and in other symphony orchestras such as the Oulu Sinfonia, Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Lahti Symphony Orchestra and Pori Sinfonietta. Her interest in pedagogy has led her to work as an oboe, chamber music and orchestra teacher at the Espoo Music Institute (Tapiola, Finland), where she taught during the tour of Slovenia with the Tapiola Youth Orchestra. In addition, he obtained a master degree in teacher training at the International University of Valencia. He has also participated in prestigious chamber music festivals such as the Deltachamber Music Festival (Amposta, Catalonia), the ClasClas Music Festival (Vilagarcía de Arousa, Galícia) and the Etihad Music Festival (Amman, Jordan). Winner of the Nini Perno Scholarship from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Rome, Italy), she has premiered works with the contemporary music group Ensemble 900.
During her career, she has performed under the baton of prestigious international conductors such as Kent Nagano, Roger Norrington , Hannu Lintu, Sakari Oramo, Salvador Brotons and Mikko Franck. He has also participated in masterclasses with renowned oboists such as Ramon Ortega, Alexei Ogrintchouck, Stefan Schilli, Jacques Tys, Eduardo Martínez, Gregor Witt, Cristina Gómez and Céline Moinet.
