About Neil
I'm a highly experienced professional photographer with 30 years in the industry. I was trained in the Royal Navy using film cameras and today I use digital DSLRs and Adobe editing software. I'm a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society.

I offer 1-2-1 and group coaching for beginners and intermediates of all ages who want to learn photography and maximise their enjoyment and results. Learn about camera handling, exposure, composition, different genres and what makes a photograph interesting. Learn which situations require which settings and gain the confidence to use manual mode on your camera. I can show you how to turn ordinary images into stunning pictures with digital post-processing and guide you with the equipment and software you might need. I'll also demonstrate how to show off your work on the most popular sites and where to gain inspiration from. If you're a business owner, let me show you or your employees how to improve your product photography and social media content to enhance sales and get the images your audience will engage with. If you're a camera club photographer, I can show you how to improve your chances of winning competitions. I've won my camera club's Photographer of the Year competition for the last three years and have judged other competitions, I can show you what the judges are looking for.
