About Deon
I have been teaching private piano and voice since the mid 90’s. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education! I have played for weddings, parties, funerals, and am a church musician. My students have learned to read music and play by ear. Also, produce, compose, and arrange music.

My teaching approach consists of teaching from music books that have music theory incorporated in them. I use musical flash cards to help students learn treble and bass clef notes. Also, teach ear training to enhance the students' musicianship. I give the students the opportunity to choose additional songs of their choice to learn.
