About Liam
I have been playing piano for 8 years now, both as a solo piano player and in various ensembles (such as original jazz bands and big bands, to pop and solo piano)
I graduated in August of 2023 with a First Class Honours in Jazz Piano from Leeds Conservatoire, a place where found my voice in becoming an improviser and creative, and pushed me to develop my craft and musical knowledge.
I am currently working as a piano teacher and professional musician, looking to take on more students and help others learn and achieve on their music journeys!

My lessons are very much catered to you and what you want to achieve, this could a personal hobby or grades or performance prepetition. I can offer you direction and advice in wherever you want to go with piano, whether you are experienced or just beginning.
My focus builds on bringing confidence and knowledge to students, aiming to develop technique and foundations (scales exercises, finger exercises, hand independence, correct relaxed posture), musical knowledge (sight reading, repertoire, pieces) and creative expression and interpretation, performance and improvisation skills, if desired!
I offer a calm and easy going feel to my lessons putting you at ease, and will make sure the lessons are engaging and productive in improving your skills!
Welcome to all students of any ability and ages, I offer lessons in Jazz, Improvisation, Pop and Classical. (I also am DBS checked.)
