About Lily
After graduation with a high class degree from the Royal Northern college of Music, Lily has taught in schools, privately and online. Her students have ranged from beginner to advanced and she is happy to do create lessons tailored to each individual pupil, as some students wish to progress through the grades and some simply want to play for fun!

Lily's teaching method is very much based around each individual student, learning a woodwind instrument is a very challenging but rewarding thing. It enables a person to gain confidence and transferable skills that are likely to improve other aspects of their life. Lily offers everything from complete beginner theory and woodwind practice, to preparing for Music Colleges or University auditions. Structure is a very important part to a lesson, beginning with a warm up including scales, long tones or sight-reading. Followed by work their pieces and then ending with a fun duet, or improvisation practice.
