About Shannon
Hi, I'm Shannon - a performer, vocal coach, and educator with a deep passion for helping singers and actors find their voice!
I am currently Head of the Musical Theatre department at the Australian Performing Arts Conservatory, and I hold a Master's Degree in Music Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
I teach singing and acting online and in person in central Brisbane, working with students of all levels - from complete beginners through to working professionals.
My performance career has taken me around the world - including lead vocalist roles for Disney, UK touring productions, major international cruise lines, and various screen appearances. I also tour internationally as part of the professional vocal trio, 'The Madeleines' (themadeleines.com).
I am passionate about helping people to develop solid singing and acting skills and confidence they will take through life.

I specialise in Musical Theatre singing technique, teaching predominantly using the Estill Method, with additional expertise across contemporary styles including pop, rock, and jazz.
My warm and encouraging teaching style helps to foster confidence and creativity in my students. I aim to provide a tailored approach to empower my students with practical exercises they can use to improve their performance.
I can also help singers preparing for tertiary performing arts school auditions.
