About Jacob
I’m a songwriter and music producer working out of Evoke studios. Since graduating with a first class BA Hons in Songwriting from Leeds College of Music, I’ve garnered writing credits across the Leeds music scene, writing with a plethora of wonderful artists, and releasing three singles of my own, with international attention. I combine my wealth of knowledge in songwriting, with a soulful taste in music and a fantastic ear for sound and feeling. Apparently my success partly lies in my ability to disarm people with my natural, lighthearted, open minded attitude, making collaboration in any regard a joyous experience for everyone.

Whatever your musical aspirations, I am excited to work with you to achieve it. Whether you are a seasoned veteran of guitar playing and searching for inspiration or reinvention, or wether you are just discovering the art of playing and seeking out a mentor for guidance. I have been there and can serve those roles. Whether you want to jam along with your favourite records, write your own guitar riffs or diligently study modal harmony and improvisation, we can do it all.
We will spend our sessions lead by what is inspiring and exciting you, using it as a platform to dive into theoretical concepts and techniques that allow you the freedom to do whatever you would like, refining your style in the process.
I can deliver lessons both online and in my beautiful recording studio in Leeds - which is definitely better.
