About Tobias
I am a singer songwriter and fingertsyle guitar player and have taught guitar for over 10 years. I have taught advance fingerstyle guitar at festivals and beginners one on one tuition at home. I have BA (hons) Music Degree and lots of experience as a performer and touring musician having played at major festivals like Glastonbury and in Europe and USA. My songs and compositions have been featured in TV and film.
As well as various levels of guitar playing I can offer coaching and feedback on songwriting, singing, live sound, gear and stage set up and performance and can assist with career development from playing your first open mic to getting a proper gig.

Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs of the student and we start by getting a clear picture of your level, what you want to achieve and the music you like.
I can work with beginners up to more advance fingerstyle techniques.
Songs or pieces are introduced that tackle various challenges of the guitar step by step.
Music can be presented in guitar tablature, notation or just learning by ear.
We work with established guitar techniques, finger positions and posture to create a healthy foundation to build on; working with the natural grace and symmetry of the hands and the instrument.
I am a very patient and methodical teacher with a real love for the instrument.

I may need to charge extra to travel outside the local area, this can be discussed.
I prefer 45 minute lessons to one hour and can reflect this in the price.
