About Oliver
Freelance trombonist working in London and across the U.K. First class BMus Jazz Honours from Royal Academy of Music, London. Experience of teaching a wide range of abilities and ages for trombone as well as teaching beginner-intermediate trumpet. Currently a lecturer in jazz at Southampton University, brass teacher for Redbridge Music Service, and previously for the East Barnet Music Centre. I have performed across the U.K and Europe, including working in London's West End theatres.

I believe as many people as possible should experience the joy that learning a musical instrument can bring. I also teach about music in general, not always focusing on instrument-specific topics. I'm happy to teach what the student needs to achieve their own aspirations and targets. I have taught consultation lessons to students auditioning for music conservatoires. I can prepare students to take and pass graded music exams.
