This Summer, I searched for a company that could help take my DJing to the next level, and in August reached out to arranged a call with Ruben. Our first engagement was a long telephone call, where Ruben took all the time we needed to understand where I was coming from and looking for. We met shortly afterwards to start the bespoke course.

In our first lesson, it was clear where I thought I was in terms of capability was far short of the mark, and Ruben took me back to basics; music management, DJ pools, phrasing, music theory and understanding the true need and impact of EQs (never touch the highs!). The difference in my confidence, understanding and focus coming from the first 2 or 3 sessions was huge, and each time I fell short or needed something explaining again, Ruben was there to break it all down and build it back up.

Whilst I know how far I still need to travel to get to the level I want to be at, without Rubens help, coaching and constant support I wouldn't be anywhere near as proficient as I am, or know where and what to now focus on to keep improving and learning this amazing art.

In summary... if in doubt, don't be; Ruben is the best - a clear, confident, experiences and patient teacher who I now count as a friend.

I highly recommend Ruben for the beginner course and for his performance. He is a skillful, holistic, and friendly DJ and teacher, who can teach you from understanding the very basic music theory to developing an appropriation of sound mixing. I had spent 4 nights with him, on a 1v2 course. And I became confident in mixing music and play with the DDJ controller.
