Please ensure that you adhere to the following terms and conditions as a student of Galloway Vocals. This is for the benefit of both student and teacher, and to ensure that everyone has a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience with us.
Anyone found not complying to these terms and conditions will risk lessons and teaching being terminated.

1.  As a student of Galloway Vocals, it is your responsibility to ensure you, your child or your group behave in an acceptable manner during the lessons. Any form of intolerable behaviour such as abusive, explicit or discriminatory behaviour will result in termination of lessons. We reserve the right to terminate all lessons if we feel behaviour is unacceptable. In such a case, refunds will not be given.

2. The safety of our all involved in our sessions is of our upmost importance. If you attend a face to face session with symptoms of COVID-19 we may refuse your entry to the lesson and no refund will be issued in such circumstances. Please keep regular contact with Grace at Galloway Vocals on whether anyone in your household are showing symptoms and we can reschedule your session or move it onto Zoom.

3. Although we teach using the Estill Voice method, that in our opinion, is the most effective, on rare occasions, it isn’t for everyone. Communication is key at Galloway Vocals, so if you, or your child are, at any point, not enjoying lessons, please get in contact with Grace to discuss how we can overcome this. If, at any time, you feel that there is a breach of professional conduct or you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please bring it to our attention by contacting (concealed information)

4. Payment must be made either before each lesson, or by the latest before 12pm on the day of your session. Upon booking being completed you will receive an email with all payment details on. We accept cash or Direct Debit payments. All payments should be made to the Galloway Vocals account, in which you will get details from upon enquiry for your chosen session.
 If you are under 18 your booking must come through your parent/ guardian.

5. You must always inform your session leader if you wish to record parts of your lesson. Recording is encouraged, as this is a great way to reflect on what we have covered in the session, however, any recordings made without the full knowledge and consent of those in the room/participating in the session, may result in the termination of all future lessons.

6. If you or your child are under 16 and book for a 1 to 1 in person session, it is at your own discretion as to whether you or your parent/guardian sit in and observe the lesson. This depends on each individual student, although it must be the same parent/ guardian who made the booking who attends unless stated otherwise to Grace via email. 

7. For online sessions, we will always send a reminder with the Zoom details of your session near to the day of your lesson. If you arrive late to your in-person session or don’t show up at all, with no communication as to why to Grace, we reserve the right to leave and no refunds will be issued. 

8. For group sessions, you must provide 1 adult per 20 children who are present during the whole duration of the masterclass or workshop. If the workshop leader arrives and there are no responsible adults able to be present throughout the whole session, then Galloway Vocals reserves the right to refuse to present the session, and no refund will be given.
