About DiTanya
Most recently, I served as Professor of English for a South American Naval Academy where my students were learning English as a 3rd, 4th, and even 5th language. I love culture and traveling. I find, as a student of linguistics myself, that picking up a new language can be an intimidating task, but when you overcome fear and nervousness, the sky really is the limit. In my household we speak English, French, Darija, and Arabic and there is never a dull conversation.

My teaching method involves conversations in a structured but relaxed and fun classroom environment where discussing current events, pop-culture, sports, cooking, fashion, music, and movies bridge the divide between your native tongue and the language you wish to master. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I undesrtand that everyone learns differently and that whether you are a visual, auditory, written, or singing learner, we can eliminate fear and anxiety through shared interests.
