About Matt
I have more than 8 years in the professional world as a marketing writer, creating content for a variety of successful clients to help increase their brand visibility. I received a Master of Fine Arts in English in 2010 and in that time spent a year helping teach English and literature classes. I have also tutored students to develop and enhance their writing skills for both academic and professional settings.

With writing, the key is to get the student engaged by allowing them the space to explore what makes them feel passionate. Like any skill, writing is best improved through practice. So I try to encourage students to write whenever they can, then connect what successes they have written on their own to writing assignments for classes.
