About Pooja
I bring over 15 years of my own learnings in music and singing and hope to ease your path along the way (though make no mistake, only you can walk it!).
I'm a disciple of Pandit Shree Sanjay Patki (Agra Gharana), a vocalist, an accomplished Harmonium player and trained in Western Classical Piano.
I specialize in younger aspirants as well who may not have that much attention span. I often start with 30 minute classes and build over time.

Welcome to an immensely enjoyable, at times frustrating, but always satisfying journey that, perhaps, has no destination - only milestones!
My style of teaching focuses first and foremost on blocks that build music.
In my humble opinion even the most simple song/raag is an advanced concept. For most beginners/intermediates I like to focus on mastering sur and proficiency in alankars, paltas. So when you finally do sing, nothing is left to chance - its a mathematical execution of the building blocks already mastered.
I also focus on preparing you as a singer. Development of voice culture (projection), finding your "key", achieving resonance, dynamics and being stage ready. We get into nuances of how to sing for studio recordings vs live performances.
We can curate a journey based on your current skill level and goals when we talk.
There is no limit to what we can accomplish together - all it needs is a commitment from you.
