About Isla
I hold a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering, with 8 years of experience teaching students at all levels. My methodology emphasises practical learning, conceptual clarity, and personalised guidance. I create an engaging environment that encourages experimentation, mistakes as learning opportunities, and growth. Each lesson is designed to help learners internalise programming principles while developing confidence and independence. Each lesson combines practical work, guided explanation, and incremental challenges to build competence and self-assurance. Learning programming enhances analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and creative problem-solving beyond coding itself.
