About Lily
My interest in programming began when I first discovered how computers follow instructions written in programming languages. I was fascinated by the idea that simple commands could be combined to create complex systems such as applications and software tools. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and later complete a Master’s in Computer Science to deepen my understanding of programming and software development.
During the past 9 years, I have worked with many students who are learning programming for academic study or professional development. Through this experience I learned that beginners often feel confused because programming involves both technical syntax and logical problem solving. Because of this, I focus on teaching the reasoning behind each step so students understand how programs work rather than simply memorizing code.
My teaching approach encourages experimentation, consistent practice, and careful problem solving. I guide students through coding exercises that gradually increase in complexity so they can develop strong programming foundations. Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new programming technologies and reading about modern trends in software engineering.

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand how computer programs are designed and how coding can be used to solve problems. Instead of concentrating only on programming syntax, I guide learners to understand the logical thinking that supports software development. Students learn how algorithms work, how data is processed by computers, and how programs are structured to perform different tasks.
Lessons are designed according to the learner’s level of experience. Beginners start with basic programming ideas such as variables, data types, conditions, and loops. Intermediate learners practice writing structured programs using functions, arrays, and basic data structures. Advanced students explore more complex topics such as algorithm design, debugging techniques, and project-based programming tasks that strengthen their practical coding abilities. Each lesson includes examples and coding exercises so learners can apply their knowledge through practice.
Programming becomes exciting when students realize they can build useful tools, automate tasks, and create applications through code. My goal is to help learners develop strong logical thinking and confidence in writing programs. As their understanding improves, they begin to approach programming challenges with creativity and structured reasoning.
