About Ruby
My journey in programming began with curiosity about how digital systems work, inspiring me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students of all levels develop logical thinking, coding skills, and confidence in applying computational solutions. My teaching emphasizes stepwise problem-solving, clear explanations, and hands-on experimentation, making programming accessible and enjoyable.
I focus on cultivating a supportive and adaptive learning environment. Each lesson is designed to align with the student’s learning pace and style while encouraging independent thinking, experimentation, and application of concepts. I emphasize understanding the logic behind code and solutions, fostering deeper comprehension rather than rote memorization, and building a foundation for future problem-solving success.
Outside the classroom, I continually explore new technologies, software developments, and innovative programming approaches. Bringing these insights into lessons ensures learners engage with current practices and real-world applications. Witnessing students progress from uncertainty to competence, confidently building and debugging programs, is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to nurture not only capable coders but independent thinkers with strong computational reasoning and creativity.
