Jing Kai is a respected tutor in our community. He is highly recommended for his commitment and the quality of his lessons. An excellent choice to progress with confidence.
About Jing Kai
I have over 17 years of tutoring experience and I provide structured teaching lessons to get you through any mathematics course. I am also a full time risk manager in the banking industry, but I am enthusiastic in teaching and do tutoring as a part-time job as well (only available currently on Saturdays). As proven many times in the past, I make a fundamental difference to the learning using my teaching philosophy and I enjoy the reward in seeing the success of my past students.
Experience:
*I have taught for 17 years.
*I have taught both in class and 1-on-1 environments, but I prefer small groups so I can tailor make the pace and lesson style to each individual's needs.

My teaching philosophy differs from vast majority of others I know, not only I show you the context and process of how the mathematical formulas and concepts are derived, I also show you how to apply them into questions ranging from fundamentals to the most complex ones through my carefully designed theory booklet (example can be downloaded in link below). I detest the traditional methods of how mathematics is taught, generally students were just told to memorise and apply the mathematical formulas to a set of repetitive questions.
I am providing structured small classes in my home only for a maximum group of 4 students. This allows for focused attention, but also competition and interactive learning, which is the most effective through questions and answers. There are no stupid questions, and I can answer anything you would like to know, inclusive of my industry experience in professional workplace.
Materials:
*Fully typed, structured notes each week.
*Typed up quizes for each week.
*Typed up revision exercises of HSC style questions for each topic.

Jing Kai is trustworthy, and would make a great teacher.
He has a deep understanding of the subject and is always well-prepared, providing structured and organised. He also tailors his teaching style to fit each student's individual needs. Beyond lessons, he has also set up a Facebook group where students can ask questions at any time, and he responds promptly. Without his support, it would have been impossible for me to achieve a Band 6 in Maths Extension 1 and 2.I strongly believe Jing Kai is trustworthy and would make a great teacher. I highly recommend Jing Kai as he is an experienced and patient teacher with the skill to break down fundamental concepts into simple, accessible explanations.
His lessons are structured with pre-prepared booklets that outline key mathematical ideas, effectively guiding students through each topic. Also, his weekly quizzes and revision materials sets reinforce understanding and help students their track progress and areas of improvement.
Jing Kai is responsive to homework questions and flexible in tailoring sessions to individual needs, making him the ideal choice for anyone seeking a dedicated and personalised mathematics teacher.View more recommendations
