About Raquel
I enjoy teaching psychology because I like to help learners understand how we think, communicate and learn. Psychology gives me the opportunity to study human behaviour in a more structured academic way and to support students in developing their analytical and exam skills. It also allows me to teach and share what I have learnt and gained from my bachelor's degree in psychology.

My teaching style is structured, supportive and focused on developing exam confidence along with a thorough understanding for both GCSE and A-level psychology. I explain core concepts with clear explanations, real-life examples and interactive questioning so that students grasp the core ideas before we move into application. At GCSE level, I focus more on breaking down the content into manageable sections, reinforcing key terms and developing a clear structure for the exam. At A level, lessons become more detailed evaluation, critical thinking and increased use of AO1, AO2 and AO3 skills. At both levels I use regular retrieval practice, exam question drilling and targeted feedback to improve knowledge retention and performance over time.

An extremely dedicated and patient teacher. She shared her extensive knowledge of psychology with deep compassion and patience, and helped me grasp each topic fully before I was ready to move on.
