About Barbora
I am a psychology graduate looking to share her knowledge of concepts and theories across social psychology, developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, psychology of language and memory, and more. As an early-career researcher, I am especially keen to help my students with research methodologies. I believe statistics do not have to be every student's nightmare and would love to share my appreciation for the subject!
I am also an avid reader and took several literature electives at university. Combined with my English Literature A-level, I can support students struggling with interpreting text and writing top-grade essays.
As a non-native speaker of English that has lived in UK for six years, and completed a full degree in English, I am also looking forward to helping other non-native speakers with their fluency and grammar. I am currently finishing my TEFL certificate.

I incorporate psychological insights about teaching in my lessons. Depending on my students' needs, I emphasise deep understanding of subject areas and methodologies, and ability to link topics to a bigger picture.
Typically, a lesson will last 45 minutes and involve identifying objectives for the lesson, activities and exercises designed to challenge the students' current abilities and expand their abilities, and a short recap at rhetorical end of the lesson.
I have experience providing statistical support and support with psychological theories and concepts to undergraduate university students. Conversely, I also have experience teaching English as a foreign language to primary school children. As such, I am able to provide tutoring for GCSE and A-level (or equivalent) psychology, biology, and English literature, and undergraduate-level psychology. I also provide English as a foreign language lessons for intermediate and advanced speakers.
