Hi! I'm Amira
I believe in an individualized and patient approach to learning. My academic coaching begins with an intake session with a parent present so I can get to know the child and their needs, as well as learn about any concerns and background information. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions that will help you decide if I am the right fit.
The truth is that anyone can be a tutor. What makes me different is my tailored approach to guiding students’ learning by also focusing on their emotional needs. Only a healthy, emotionally-regulated mind can learn effectively. I can help students by teaching strategies to regulate the nervous system, creating personalized study plans, providing recommendations, and more.
These programs typically cost hundreds to thousands of dollars. I am extremely passionate about pediatric care and am gaining experience for my OT application, so I am willing to provide these services at a heavily discounted rate.
I also completely understand that in this day and age, parents can be hesitant to trust someone with their child. I will readily provide references, personal identification, my up-to-date vulnerable sector check, and resume if requested. I hope to hear from you and cannot wait to begin!
