About Rebecca
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am currently a graduate student in Social Work. I work in the mental health and substance use field, which allows me to connect course material to real-world practice. I tutor undergraduate and graduate students in psychology and social work courses, including human behavior, abnormal psychology, research methods, APA writing, and policy or practice-based coursework. I also provide support in brain functioning and neuroscience-related topics, helping students understand complex concepts in a clear, approachable way. My tutoring style is patient, structured, and supportive, with a focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and long-term understanding rather than memorization. I offer flexible, online sessions tailored to each student’s learning style.
