About Allegra
I have a passion for learning! I also have a passion for the arts. As both a published scholar and performing artist, I not only enjoy all forms of writing, but I also pursue my own writing practice with excellence. Not every lesson will be fun to learn and not every skill will be fun to build. However, the creative freedom (or other opportunities) that building strong communication skills offers is worth it.

I am patient, approachable, and organized -- I enjoy seeing the progress students make over time, and I want you to be able to see the progress you've made as well! I have experience working with students from junior kindergarten through graduate school, and can accommodate for various learning styles and needs. I have a 100% success rate for students I coached through their college applications, and for students I have prepared for the speaking portions of exams such as TOEFL.
I speak fluent Italian, conversational Spanish, and have a working knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese. These are the populations I have the most experience supporting as English Language Learners, but I have worked with students from around the globe.
