About Cass
I'm a published scientist with over 10 years of experience studying protein metabolism and exercise/human physiology. I've been a teaching assistant for >20 courses at the undergraduate level and have worked with hundreds of students over my time in graduate school. I like to use real world examples to help facilitate learning beyond memorization. I find this helps students excel on exams and lab reports when critical thinking is important.

I focus on teaching underlying principles of nutrition and physiology to improve course material retention and help undergraduate students become developed critical thinkers. I find this method works best for students who are looking to do well in class and potentially use these skill to branch into research in their undergraduate program (which may be used for med school or grad school applications).
