About Claire
I have studied Economics, (Honors), in addition to Psychology-of cognition, child development, and writing. I have taught ESL, done Public Speaking, and tutored in the art and technical aspects of writing, reading-decoding, analysis and interpretation of text. I have 20 years experience and my students have ranged in age from 5 to 90!

I have studied Teaching Methodologies and I am able to teach using various modalities. I begin my program with an observation of a student's learning style, and often use an eclectic teaching style. The most powerful tools are flexibility, listening and patience without judgement. If a student is motivated, then he/she can learn anything!
