About Marco
I have been tutoring Maths and Physics since when I was at school myself, and throughout university (to peers and below). Since completing my PGCE at KCL to qualify as a Physics teacher, I have taught Physics at many of the top UK schools over more than 10 years, helping countless students to reach their full potential in public examinations. I have also worked as a PGCE mentor, which frequently involves discussion of what makes good teaching practice!

I am a UK-qualified Physics teacher, who has taught at some of the most academic secondary schools in England. Many tutors on here will know their subject very well, as I do too, but the advantage of having trained and worked as a classroom teacher is that I am very experienced in how best to teach Physics, and am familiar with the 13+, GCSE, IGCSE, IB & A-level school syllabi, as well as PAT and Olympiad questions. I know how to get key ideas across clearly and effectively, and tailor delivery to individual needs.
That said, I am friendly & approachable, and have a bad sense of humour. I listen to students, and try to get to the roots of any misunderstanding in the subject. You will find me helpful and easy to work with. I have trained trainee teachers how to teach!
