About Michelle
Qualified as a Health and Social Care assessor in 2015, I have delivered the NVQ under both frameworks.
I have delivered from Level 2 up to Level 5 health care management, alongside the specialised frameworks for clinical care.
My vocational health care background is in paediatric complex health care (in the community/on the ward), starting in this area in 2008, with my most recent appointment was when I returned to field as a respite care manager from 2020-2022.
When working for Qube Learning in 2017-19, I was privileged to be the tutor for the Apprentice of the Year for 2018 and 2019. Both students throughly deserved their awards and have gone on to establish rewarding careers.
Having left the sector, I currently work Outreach Tutor and Functional Skills assessor working with young people from KS1-GCSE/Functional Skills teaching health and social care, alongside English,Science, Maths and the Arts Award.

My approach is very much student led, as having completed my own qualifications whilst working as a complex care package manager and being a new mum, I understand the struggles life brings for adult learners and those studying a vocational qualification.
