About Axenia
I have a genuine passion for helping others and take pride in providing an excellent service. I'm a friendly, outgoing individial who thrives under pressure and loves a challenge.
I am fully fluent in Italian, French and English. I would also confidently say that I appreciate the cultural nuances of these countries, having lived in each of them respectively for years at a time.
I would consider myself relatively well travelled which I believe lends massively to ones interpersonal and communication skills, which I pride myself on.

I have several years of teaching experience; firstly as a volunteer teacher in Italian evening schools for foreigners (Rome and Bologna) then as a university teacher for Italian Civilisation at Caen University in France.
Recently my classes are mostly one-to-one, with a program specifically tailored for every individual language level and the activities adapted to cater for the students specific interests in the Italian culture.
My method consists of developing and organising captivating activities for groups, pairs or individual students of all ages. I am inclined to teach Italian through various mediums with an insight to the social and environmental aspects of Italian territory. I am also very interested in guiding the students to discover more genuine aspects of Italian civilisation in its multiple facets.
