About Alice
I have always had a passion for teaching and helping young minds grow. Using an array of lesson approaches, I hope to scaffold children's natural curiosity into helping them learn exactly how they learn best, to allow them to achieve anything! I have trained for 3 years as a primary school teacher and taught in the classroom for a year. I have watched my year 1 students flourish into inquisitive learners who are confident enough to challenge and tackle things head on.I have had experience in year 3 and 6 settings and so also know the route and journey our young people will be taking over the next few years.

Hello. I am a fully qualified Primary school teacher with QTS and a full DBS. My experience lies mainly within KS1 students ages 5-7 years old, however I am qualified 5-11 so can adapt if needed. Phonics, maths, reading and comprehension are the particular areas of the KS1 curriculum that I as a teacher have noticed are where children tend to find tricker and could do with a little extra 1:1 help. With the Year 1 phonics check and Year 2 SATS putting pressure on the children I am here to help support and develop their confidence and ability within these main areas.
