Marie is an amazing tutor who showed  professionalism and straightforwardness; She fully understands the task at hand and makes the most of the time.

Marie tutored me through my last year of A levels. I’m so glad to have found her as my French improved hugely. This was all down to Marie’s hard work and preparation for each lesson. Marie tailored all the lessons to my specific needs and incorporated current affairs and French culture. Marie consistently spoke in French and of course it helps that she’s a native French speaker. My confidence in the speaking aspect has improved so much thanks to Marie and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

I worked closely with Marie when I required her help with applications for full-time employment in France as French is not my mother tongue. Marie helped me prepare extremely well for my interviews by providing CV and cover letter translation services as well as interview prep (mock interviews, elocution and accent improvement, etc.). After I was successful in my interviews she continued to provide guidance (free!) to make the transition from England to France easier. Marie was always cordial, patient and showed a sincere interest in my success. Her outstanding ability to explain and teach, and her positive attitude, always inspired me to do better. Furthermore, Marie has a creative touch to her work, she is detail-oriented and always exceeded my expectations. I would thus not hesitate in recommending Marie to any future students.

I have been learning French from Marie for a year. She is great at understanding my needs, strengths and weaknesses to tailor our lessons, and leverage a variety of media and online tools to maximise learning outcomes. For example, my listening is weak so she sends music and recommends French TV series, and then tailors exercises around them. She also uses tools such as Google classroom, tests and digitial flashcards to help me learn.

I was Marie’s student for more than 2 years. She is a great teacher, strict, diligent and really going extra mile: she usually prepares interesting materials for our lessons that go beyond textbooks, maintains dialogue between lessons, sends interesting articles and movies (and that all in French). We worked both on conversational aspects of the language and DELF exam preparation. I am working full time and even without always having time to study extra time I am now very comfortable having dialogue in French and getting around in France where I spend a lot of time. I have spent a lot of time studying foreign languages during my school and student years and I think having a teacher who is a native speaker makes a lot of difference.

Marie is an amazing professional and enthusiastic teacher who helped my daughter prepare for her IGCSE French exam. She knows the syllabus very well and she has a lot of resources and techniques provided to the student helping gain high marks on the exams.
