About Emma
I have been tutoring for seven years, where I have taught a range of students, primary and secondary, and seen some real successes over the years. With two years' classroom experience and a QTS, I have learnt how to adapt to students' needs and built many effective resources to enhance student progress. I am passionate about maths, and I am a strong believer that anyone has the ability to excel in the subject with the right resources.

I am a qualified secondary mathematics teacher, with two years' experience in the classroom and seven years tutoring. I run one-hour lessons online, for up to the age of 16. I believe that building upon knowledge is the key to learning more difficult mathematical concepts. I build on the basics with my students, breaking it down slowly and chunking each topic for maximum understanding. When approaching exams, practice is key. I encourage, provide and go through exam questions and mark schemes on a regular basis, which increases the confidence of my students when they go into an exam.
