About Georgia
I have taught speech and drama, both practical and theory elements, up to and including university level, for the past 20 years. Having acted professionally, I specialise in audition coaching (drama school, etc.), voice and speech work, and preparing candidates for specialist drama exams (LAMDA, Trinity, New Era, etc.). I have a First Class Honours degree in Theatre Studies and particularly enjoy teaching related modules, supervising written tasks, etc.

My aim is always to inspire, energise, enthuse, and educate my students, and I try to do this in the clearest, most effective, and most appropriate manner for each individual. In this respect, a student-led approach is paramount; it is vital that I establish exactly what each student wishes to achieve, and why. The process of learning is often symbiotic; discoveries made together lead to the greatest progress. With particular regard to elocution, I am a native R.P.speaker and understand the mechanics of accent and dialect, and how the nuances of these can impact upon perception, and clarity of communication.

Perfect! Great communication! I have attended a few elocution lessons and Georgia identified quickly my pronunciation issues and was able to provide me with practical help tailored to my level and requirements . She understood the difficulties I was experiencing with my italian pronunciation and was patient, friendly and reccomended the best solutions to help .
- Daisy is clearly a very intelligent young woman and our sessions were stimulating and incredibly rewarding.
