Harley is an amazing tutor, my son finds maths difficult and yet with Harley he is able to focus throughout the entire lesson and really appreciates Harley's intelligent and conversational ability to bring maths to life. It's a potentially dry subject and Harley makes it really interesting. My son is never going to be a mathematician, but he's getting over a fear and insecurity of the subject which makes me hope he'll pass his GCSE - which for us is a massive win. Harley is encouraging, sets great goals, is kind and also funny. He's particularly good at pitching his teaching just right to meet the needs of the kid he's teaching at the moment. You can tell from his depth of maths and love of the subject how he would also be great for an adept kid. He brings odd notes of higher maths to my son's conversation where it falls into the flow, he's not afraid to challenge him and really encourages him to engage with the numbers, to see their beauty. An amazing tutor.
