About Iqra
I am a qualified teacher (PGCE), who has worked with children from the ages of 4-14. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a tutor for 4 years and enjoyed it so much that I took my passion to the next level. I have been a qualified teacher for 2 years, teaching in Year 6.

My teaching methodology is that every learner has a best way to learn, whether that is auditory, visually, practically and that an ideal tutors understands the uniqueness of each learner and adapts their material towards this. My 1-to-1 lesson structures would first be understanding what the student would like to gain from the tutoring experience and then tailoring my lessons around that. For example if a student is totally confused about a particular strand, we would start with the basics and build up on that at a suitable pace. If a student was competent, but wanted to be more confident within a strand, I would assess how much they know and then work on building confidence through practice and practical application.
