My teaching methodology is centred around creating an engaging, supportive, and structured learning environment tailored to each student’s needs. Each 60-minute lesson is carefully planned to balance explanation, practice, and feedback. I begin with a short recap of previous topics to strengthen retention, followed by clear, step-by-step teaching of new concepts using real-life examples, visual aids, and interactive questioning to encourage critical thinking. I incorporate a range of techniques such as guided problem-solving, mini-quizzes, and exam-style practice to develop both understanding and exam confidence. With qualifications in Pharmacy and an MSc in Chemistry, I bring strong subject knowledge and a practical understanding of scientific principles. My academic background allows me to simplify complex ideas and relate them to real-world applications, helping students see the relevance of what they learn. My lessons are designed for students in Years 7 to 11, covering Key Stage 3 and GCSE levels. I cater to all abilities, from those who need extra support to those aiming for top grades. My goal is to build confidence, improve academic performance, and foster a genuine interest in science and chemistry through patient guidance, structured learning, and continuous encouragement.
