About Jason

Hi, I’m Jason, a Statistics student with a minor in Economics at Queen’s University. My studies have given me a strong foundation in mathematics and problem solving. I understand how frustrating math can feel when a concept does not click. My goal is to help students feel comfortable asking questions, work through challenges, and build confidence in their own abilities. I speak both English and Mandarin.

About the lesson

I offer high school math lessons covering algebra, geometry, functions, and calculus. My approach focuses on understanding the reasoning behind each step, rather than simply memorizing formulas. A typical lesson starts with questions or a short review, followed by worked examples and guided practice. I adapt the pace to each student’s needs, whether they are building foundational skills or preparing for tests. I can explain concepts in both English and Mandarin.
