I’d like to leave a review of the chess lessons – they’re genuinely some of the most enjoyable and beneficial lessons I’ve ever had. Andriy explains things brilliantly: he breaks down even the most complex concepts in such a way that everything becomes clear and logical, without being overwhelming or boring. You can always tell that it’s important to him that you really understand, rather than just ‘getting through the topic’. The lessons flow easily and have a great vibe – you can feel free to ask any questions, discuss games, make mistakes and analyse them without any pressure. The atmosphere is as relaxed as possible, so you want to learn, rather than feeling like you ‘have to’.

I started with a rating of 300 Elo in rapid, and now I’m already at 1100 on Chess.com, all thanks to Andrii — he’s a great teacher. With him, this journey has been smooth and fast, and I’m planning to continue taking lessons with him.

I have been playing with Andrei for almost a year at this point and I have a lot to say. Firstly, it's incredible how easy it is to connect with him as a student, plus he puts a lot of effort into actually getting to know you. Great teacher! I have been playing chess with Andrii for almost 3 months now—and during this time, I really felt noticeable progress. Lessons are interesting and structured: we analyze both theory and a lot of practice, analyze games and mistakes. Andrii knows how to explain even difficult moments in an accessible way, always supports and motivates me to move on.
