About Jhanvi
Hi! My name is Jhanvi and I graduated from MacRob in 2023 with a 98.90 ATAR and a RAW 50 and Premier's Award in General Maths. This year I'm offering private tutoring for VCE General Maths.
As a highly dedicated math student I learnt some valuable tips and tricks from general maths that helped me minimise mistakes and break down otherwise complex mathematical concepts down into intuitive and simple steps. These helped me achieve a raw 50 in the subject and can help you achieve your desired results too!

For General 3/4 there will be weekly 1-2 hour classes depending on your goals for the subject. In this time we will aim to cover content ahead of school while also working through and developing abilities in solving complicated problems. This is aimed to give us adequate time to focus on problem areas and develop confidence in all topics so that you will feel well equipped and prepared for any SACs and the exams. As a result some students may need more time than just 1 hour per week. Lessons will include time to cover the content, practice questions, develop your bound reference and cover any tips and tricks.
For students I am available 24/7 if you feel the need to ask questions especially during SACs and exam periods. I'm also happy to mark practice SACs and exams. In General Math working out and wording is an important part of the marking scheme and we can often find ourselves marking too leniently.
I am able to tutor both online and in person. I live in Mitcham and am willing to travel to the CBD to meet or to suburbs within a reasonable distance. If you can't do in person tutoring don't stress! I'm well equipped for online classes as well and have a lot of experience working with students online.
I also do group classes for a discounted price! Small group (2-4) tutoring rates start from $45 an hour while large group (5+) are $30 an hour. Group classes will likely range from 1.5 hours to 2 hours per week depending on the students.
