About Arooj

I’m Arooj, your reading coach and biggest cheerleader! To me, phonics isn’t just schoolwork—it’s a secret code we’ll crack together. When I’m not teaching, I love painting, and I bring that same energy into our lessons.
I teach because I love seeing that 'aha!' moment when a tricky word finally makes sense. My goal is to make English feel easy and fun, giving you the confidence to read any story and share your own unique voice with the world. Let’s make reading your new superpower

About the lesson

"I know that phonics and spelling can sometimes feel like a puzzle with missing pieces. If you’ve ever felt stuck on a word or frustrated by 'tricky' English rules, my goal is to show you that you’ve got this.
Here is how we’ll work together:
No 'Cookie-Cutter' Lessons: We won’t just move through a boring workbook. I find out how you learn best. If you like games, we use games. If you like stories, we build our lessons around them.
A Mistake-Friendly Zone: My classroom is a place where it’s okay to get it wrong. In fact, that’s how we learn! We’ll 'break the code' of tough words together until they feel easy.
Wins Every Week: You won’t just 'study'—you’ll see progress. We’ll celebrate every new sound you master and every tricky word you conquer.
Your Pace, Your Space: We don't rush. We stay on a topic until you feel like an expert. My job isn't just to teach you to read; it's to make sure you feel confident every time you open a book."
