I am a teacher who has been impacting children for 26 years. I have my Master's Degree in Reading and am National Board Certified in this area. I love motivating reluctant readers and teaching them strategies for reading success! I will do whatever it takes to enrich the lives of students and grow them academically.

When I was in 4th grade at Southmont Elementary, Asheboro NC, she became more than a teacher to me. She was more like a mother. Any time I needed help, she always offered extra time with me after school when needed. Honestly, when she moved away, it felt like a true family member moved. Again, she’s always been more than a teacher to me. She loves her students like her own and treats them as such.
