About Susan

I am a reading teacher and have been in education since 1988 in Naples, Florida and also Chatham, Cape Cod. I have been to Oxford, Mass. and studied The Wilson Reading Program. I am also a tutor and substitute teacher at a prep school in Naples, Fl.

About the lesson

My teaching approach begins when I listen to the student read, look at their papers from school and then determine the best way to teach them. Many times several styles of learning are engaged. I most usually have little ones between four and 3rd grade. I need to change things often to keep them engaged and that is never a problem. Some of them are able to do a 1 1/2 hour lesson and are intent on the lesson the entire time.
