I had a very disappointing experience with this individual.
Despite explaining that my initial rate was a minimum and could change based on her son’s needs after an assessment, I was met with an attitude that seemed to belittle me. She implied that booking me for 40 hours should make me grateful, completely disregarding the value of customized tutoring and professional expertise by saying ‘I am giving you 40 hours isn’t that a decent earning?‘

Furthermore, the interaction felt manipulative, with her pressuring me to commit to a schedule without understanding my availability and then expressing disbelief when I could not proceed.
I canceled a free 30-minute introductory class shortly before it was scheduled because I had a work trip coming up (which I got to know that day only) and I felt I shouldn’t commit and should inform her instantly rather than keeping her in the dark.
She then accused me of being dishonest saying your excuses keep on changing. Although, I never mentioned any other reason.
The entire experience left me astonished at how some people lack basic kindness and act as though the world owes them something. I wouldn’t recommend working with this person if you’re seeking a respectful and straightforward client relationship.
